I close my eyes and I see My thoughts are running wild I'm lost in a daydream Remember times when I was just a child Places where I have never been Things that I've never seen They took a spell on me Won't let me go Then the pictures are fading I am feeling strange Just in a second things have changed Please set me free Take this dream away from me Show me a way out here Please set me free Break the spell they took on me That I can journey home I found myself imprisoned Treated like a thief I've waited 'til the guards are gone And took my chance, now I am on the run As fast as I can I'm running with no way to escape They're getting closer and closer Closer and closer Suddenly the day Has turned into night I have found a place where I can hide Please set me free Take this dream away from me Show me a way out here Please set me free Break the spell they took on me That I can journey home Now the dreaming is over And even the day is gone I'm just a dreamer But I am not the only one Now I am free And I take all my dreams with me I spread my wings to fly Now I am free Broke the spell they took on me Now I can journey home Now I am free And I take all my dreams with me I spread my wings to fly Now I am free If there's a place for me to be You're gonna find me there |
